Mingyu Luo joined the Wulff Lab as a Visiting Student in January 2026. She obtained her master’s degree from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU), China. Mingyu’s research interests center on molecular plant-microbe recognition biology. During her master’s and PhD, she focused on transcription factors involved in plant disease resistance and the mechanism of NLR-mediated disease resistance in wheat. In the Wulff Lab, she is exploring the molecular mechanism of NLR and KFP immune receptors using biochemical and molecular methods.
