Yang Xu joined the Wulff Lab in June 2024 as a visiting student. His main project is revealing the mechanism of wheat resistance to rust pathogens by molecular biology and biochemistry technology. Yang Xu is a PhD candidate from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, China. His PhD research focus on the mechanism of wheat resistance to stripe rust promoted by unclassical NLR protein.
