Danni Zou
Laboratory Assistant
Danni Zou joined the Wulff Lab in August 2023 as a lab technician to support projects with wheat transformation. Danni obtained her master’s degree from Hainan university in China with a major in plant molecular genetics. She worked on the fine mapping of thermo-sensitive genes in rice. Subsequently, she worked for two years on rice blast as an intern in the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines. She was also a technician for one year in Rothamsted Research, UK, working on take-all, a disease affecting wheat roots. Most recently, she worked in KAUST as a greenhouse technician on a project studying heat stress in quinoa.
